About The Jose Show

My name’s is Jose Serrano. I’m a young anchor of the Manhattan Neighborhood Network Youth Channel. I have created my own show called "The Jose Show". In 2007, I participated in an internship at MNN Youth Channel where I learn television production and communication skills. After the internship I decided to have my own show with MNN Youth Channel.

The reason I decided to create my own show is to give the youth a voice so they can be heard and help get back on track. The show focuses on empowering young people and encouraging them to reach their goals and achieve their dreams. Being guests on my show will give them the opportunity to showcase their talent and discuss issues that our generation is facing.

One of my goals is to inspire the young people, encourage them to be leaders and be in control of their own lives. "The Jose Show" will inform the community and youth based organization about the resources that are available in New York City and how to best utilize them. The show is directed and geared towards youth but the information is for everyone.
